Is an oxymoron

Doing, deed, and act
Without self
Are like the flight of a bird in the sky
Without the bird

And if that self be the ego —
Egoless action too
Is an oxymoron

Non-doing — or non-action —
Must still be a deed, a doing, an act
Without which
Non-doing
Is but void

Self — the subject —
Has no sight, no speech, no thought
No expression
Outside of — or without —
The object
Through which
It sees, speaks, thinks, and acts

Without the self — centred in the object —
The object, the body
Would be a log of wood

Dis-identification —
Of subject from object
Of self from body —
Is nothing but a corpse

Self — the subject, the ego —
Consciousness, the noumenon
Must be synonymous with — identical to —
The sentient object
The phenomenon

No third — nor second —
Entity, source, or centre exists
To effect, obtain or experience
Dis-identification

Without interpreting through self — the phenomenon
No expression or utterance
Of oneself or another
Can be divided into
Illusory or real
False or true

And in relinquishing the false
Dis-identification becomes
Nothing but the cessation
Of expression —
Death
