One Gaze

All distinctions —
Are false

No distinction
Between outer
And inner

No distinction
Between perceiver
And perceived

The material universe
And space
In which humans
Send out telescopes
To find the origin
Of universe and space —

Is no different
From a character — an avatar —
In the game world
Building telescopes
And sending them out
To find the origin
Of space and time

From the avatar’s perspective
The universe — the game world —
Is vast, infinite
Incomprehensible

But from the waking mind’s perspective —
Only itself exists
And is real

The gamer’s eye
Through which
My avatar sees the game world —
Is the same eye
Through which
The game world sees my avatar

One gaze

The body-mind
Is simply
A transparent doorway —
Mirror
Which reflects itself

The seer
Is the seen
