Imago Dei

Sovereignty is
Indistinguishable from
Aloneness

Without relationship
In any direction

Through corruption of language
And inversion of meaning
Supreme and sovereign —
Are assigned

To heads of states
Kings or queens
To something granted from above
Or below —

When the only quality
Granted from above
Is aloneness —
Applicable to the individual

Sovereign and alone
In the image
Of God
