Another Name

Where in this world
Is rest —
Between birth and death

The body, skin, molecules, cells
The air around —
Never rests, even in sleep

Even after death
What, or who
Rests in peace

And if for no thing
Alive or dead
There is rest
Then, it must — if it is —
Be outside and beyond
All that’s imaginable

Neither in life nor death
Creation nor destruction
Neither before nor after
Neither being nor non-being

Must it not be
That beyond this world
Rest
Is another name —
Of me
