Wedge

Privacy is an unholy marriage
A wedge —

Between truth
And fear

Between creation
And expression

Inner world — by any name —
Of any being
Is absolutely private

Being — by its very nature —
Is creation

Which is
Expression

Impossible in a vacuum
Without the other

For whom creation
And being exists

From whom
It must protect itself

With whom
It can never connect —

Because
There is no other

Privacy is the truth
Of one

And the fear
Of two
