The Gap

Only through observation
Of another’s demise
Is mortality, time, and finiteness
Concocted

None of which exist
In subjectivity —
Or objectively

All ideologies of caring
For another or oneself
Attempt to enforce a delusion
Upon subjectivity
Upon the inanimate object

Of mortality and time —
Of that which —
Can never be experienced

All rituals of death
Are utter absurdities
Sheer nonsense —
That attempt to place
The end

Where there is only ever
Has ever been
Can only ever
Be
The gap —
