Nothing Alone

What does thinking conclude
That every thing —
Including thinking and thought —
Ceases to be
Except Nothing —
That in which every thing came and went

If real means
That which does not come or go —
Then Nothing alone is real

And Nothing alone
Is my reality

If existence means that which is
Then
Nothing alone
Exists

And every thing else
Never existed

Hard as it may be
To integrate these conclusions
Into daily life —

Yet the reality and existence of daily life
Is no different
From the reality and existence
Of a dream

What can be feared
Or desired, then
In a dream
