Irreducible Aloneness

Who can I speak to
Who hears me —
Talking to myself
My whole life
Chasing my own tail

Forgetting myself
Finding myself —
What a dog
All my life

They sell happiness
Love
Compassion, and joy —
Sugar candies
Stuffed in mouths
To daze the sheep

None of that touches
My absolute
Infinite
Aloneness
