Grey

Between two things
There is only black and white
Among three
There is grey

Grey does not exist
Exists only as a complexity
Among three, each one — ever only —
First
Or second, to another

Polis, politics
Power —
Are conceptual, illegitimate
Petrified effigies —
On the altar of which
One is sacrificed
In the name of three —

To enforce upon
That which does not exist
A contract
Of black and white

Politics and power
Is a predatory alliance
Of two, against
The third

In the name
Of that which does not exist
Among two
Nor three
